It started with a jeweller’s
In the 1990s Patrizia Rossotti opened a small jeweller’s in Ventimiglia and gave it the name the family has carried ever since: Twins. The shop later moved to Corso Mazzini, the street where Ventimiglia does its shopping, and in the years that followed Twins opened in Sanremo, on Corso Giacomo Matteotti — the city’s main promenade.
Twenty years behind a counter taught the family two things that still decide how we work. A place is judged in its details. And people come back for the person who greets them, not for the sign above the door.
When the retail chapter closed, the family turned to the buildings themselves. The properties Twins owned in the centre of Sanremo were restored one at a time and became Twins Boutique Apartments. In 2025 Alessandro and Leonardo Rossotti bought and completely renovated the second floor on Corso Matteotti, adding three apartments above the five below — eight in all, each named after a flower of the Riviera.
We are not a chain and we are not trying to become one. We look after a small number of addresses in one city, and we answer the phone ourselves.
